iCURE Presentations

Our most recent work on a CURE embedded in a summer undergraduate research program will be presented at the 2023 fall ASMCUE Meeting.

Some of our work was presented by Kew Sweat, Jennifer Foltz-Sweat, and Pamela a. Marshall at the CUREs in HSIs 2022 | A NSF-sponsored conference at Phoenix College.

All of our findings were disseminated at the workshop we presented in the summer of 2021.  And the videos are available on YouTube.

Dr. Pamela A. Marshall gave a talk at Pittcon during the Workshop, "Changing the Face of Undergraduate STEM Education: Grant-Funded Programs for Success of Undergraduates in STEM": Pamela A. Marshall, Jennifer Broatch, Anthony B Falsetti, Jennifer Foltz-Sweat, Ken Sweat.  2019.   "Interdisciplinary Course Based Undergraduate Research Experiences as a Way for More Students to do Real Science."

Dr. Jennifer F. Hackney Price gave a talk at 60th Annual Drosophila Research Conference: Jennifer F. Hackney Price, Pamela A. Marshall, Jennifer Broatch, Jennifer Foltz-Sweat, Ken Sweat, Anthony B. Falsetti.  2019.   iCURE: Interdisciplinary Course-based Undergraduate Research Experiences for all.  60th Annual Drosophila Research Conference, Education Platform Session.

Dr. Jennifer Broatch gave a poster presentation at the United States Conference on Teaching Statistics 2019 (USCOT) Meeting, 2019.  Jennifer Broatch, Pamela Marshall, Jennifer Hackney-Price, and Kimberly Kobojek.  2019.  Design and Analysis of Experiments for an Interdisciplinary Undergraduate Research Experience.  USCOT Meeting, P2-06.

Professor Kimberly Kobojek presented on how iCURES can support students in undergraduate programs in forensic science, entitled "Addressing the Challenge of Conducting Undergraduate Research in Forensic Science Academic Programs Using a Course-Based Undergraduate Research Experience (CURE)" at the American Academy of Forensic Sciences meeting in 2019, abstract E114.
