One of the topics of the iCURE is utilizing plants to remediate mine soil sites. Students have been very creative in their design and implementation of this project. At the spring 2018 New College Undergraduate Research and Creative Projects Symposium, one of the posters by the iCURE class under Dr. Ken Sweat won the Student's Choice Award! This poster was also presented at the Arid Lands Symposium: Integrating Research into Action. May 4 & 5, 2018 at Scottsdale Community College, Scottsdale, AZ. Congratulations to this amazing iCURE student team!
